Time & Calendar system

My series features a unique universal calendar system that differs from Earth’s Gregorian calendar. To keep things intuitive for readers, the story operates on a single baseline standard—similar to how we use time zones on Earth—allowing characters across different locations to share a unified framework of time.

Here is how standard time is measured in this universe:

• Epochs: A single year is referred to as an Epoch. Because an Epoch consists of twelve 28-day months, a full year in this universe is exactly 336 days long—making every month perfectly uniform.

• Months: Each Epoch consists of 12 months.

• Weeks & Days: Time is divided into 7-day weeks, with every month split equally into 28 days (eliminating varying month lengths).

• Date Format: Dates in the story are tracked numerically by month and day (e.g., Month Name, Day 14) rather than by named days of the week.

• Timekeeping: The standard universal day operates on a 24-hour cycle, using a 24-hour scale (military time) rather than AM/PM.
