Milestone Unlocked: The Manuscript is in Beta Hands!

Hello everyone! Just dropping by to give a quick update regarding the progress I’ve made with my book over the last two weeks!

I have been in a serious self-editing mood for the past fortnight. I’m happy to share that the manuscript was clean enough that, as of September 7, 2026, it officially landed in the hands of three lovely beta readers from the Discord community I serve! These three are in my most trusted circle, so I approached them first, and they happily obliged. I am so grateful for their time, energy, and enthusiasm for diving into this story!

Even though I did a thorough pass before sending it out, I’m re-reading right alongside them. Naturally, I’ve already spotted a few silly mistakes I missed the first time around! I’ll be taking notes to fix those up once I gather all their feedback. I am so excited to hear their thoughts—and while a part of me is definitely feeling those classic pre-feedback jitters, I know that nervous excitement is just part of the author journey.

In the meantime, while my beta readers are busy with the manuscript, I’m keeping my promise to start sharing some lore and slowly pulling back the curtain on this story. It feels surreal to finally open up this world after almost nine months of dedicated writing!
